Annie-Claude Laurin is a PhD candidate at Laval University in Quebec, Canada.

She is an intensive care nurse. Her research interests are centered around nurses’ resistance to perceived aggressive and futile treatments at the end of life in the intensive care unit. She is also interested in the philosophical, social, and political structures which sustain this culture of death denial.
