Hallo.
Our international interdisciplinary research group is comprised of nurses, artists, critical theorists and anti-fascists who are committed to understanding how we can use creativity, understanding and affirmation to create affirmative social change.
OUR entry point
At the Compost Collaborative, our collective energy is a fusion of nurses, artists, critical theorists, and anti-fascists. We are united in our commitment to understanding how creativity, understanding, and affirmation can serve as catalysts for positive social change.

Our approach is interdisciplinary, drawing on the richness of both medical sciences and humanities. We believe that by intertwining these fields, we can develop well-rounded, innovative approaches to address contemporary social issues.

A central aspect of our research delves into health disparities among marginalized populations. Our nurses bring a deep understanding of healthcare, while our theorists help to critically examine the complex social factors involved. Together, we aim to foster comprehensive strategies that can support these communities in meaningful ways.

In our endeavor, we also address gender equity, acknowledging and respecting the spectrum of gender identities. Our focus is on dismantling the barriers created by societal norms and fostering an environment where all identities can thrive.

Racial justice is another pillar of our work. We engage through artistic expression and critical analysis to bring attention to the challenges faced by racialized communities. Our goal is to contribute to the ongoing efforts to counter racial discrimination and work towards a more equitable society.

Additionally, our group incorporates elements of radical philosophy with a focus on anti-fascist ideals. We critically engage with posthuman theories, exploring our interconnectedness with the broader ecosystem. This perspective helps us to challenge traditional narratives and consider new ways of thinking that embrace diversity and ecological considerations.

In collaboration, our work manifests in various forms – art, healthcare interventions, theoretical analysis, and community engagement. Through these multi-faceted efforts, the Compost Collaborative aspires to contribute to the creation of a society that is more inclusive, just, and in harmony with the world around us.
